Selection camp for the national IceStockSport team to be dispatched to international events in 2025 & 2026 was held in Hamedan

According to the Communications Department of the Iran IceStockSport Committee of the IPBA, the ion camp for the national icestock team of Iran was held on May 16, 2025 with the presence of the medalists of Asian Championships in Kermanshah 2025 (International Humanitarian Games) under the leadership of Dr. Jasem Manouchehri, founder and president of the Iran IceStockSport Committee of the IPBA and was hosted by the Department of Physical Education of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, whereby the contenders for membership in the national team dispatching to the Open European, Asian and World Championships in 2025 & 2026 were subjected to technical and skill tests.

Also, in the coming weeks, the ed members of this camp will be introduced and will attend the preparation camp that is scheduled to be held again in Hamedan at the end of coming June. The European Open Championships will be organized in in Germany in March 2026.

It is worth mentioning that the International Federation IceStockSport (IFI), as the international body of the Iran IceStockSport Committee of the IPBA, is a recognized member IF of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and in addition to organizing 15 world championships for men and women and dozens of continental competitions in both winter (on ice) and summer (on surfaces other than ice and snow), it has the prospect of entering the French Alps 2030 Winter Olympic Games. As the sole national member of IFI, this committee is considered the legal body and implementer of the policies of that international federation at the national level in the Islamic Republic of Iran and this nice sport has previously been included in the official program of the Iranian National Humanitarian Games.
